theBACKdoor: 대 하 민 국 !

Day ONE in Korea (:

It was a sudden trip and I wasn't really prepared for it as I have just got back from performing my Umraa. However, there is no way in hell that I will refuse going to Korea (; I mean this is where I always wanted to go. It is my teenage dream~ xp

So me and my two sisters went there on our own! Pro right? I know (;

We refused going with tour guides for the reason of staying at our foster mother's place in 노량진 - No-ryang-jin. She is the owner of OK Chicken House (refer to my previous posts)...

We arrived in 인천 - Incheon Airport early in the morning at 7 o'clock and her son 양광섭 오빠 - Yang Gwang Seob pick us up. We ate our breakfast before heading out and to 서울 - Seoul.

Let's skip of what happened in the car where Oppa asking us where we wanted to go so that he could draft out the places and such. He was surprise by our Korea too. xp

We speak good Korean, is what he told us. ㅋㅋㅋ Thanks to all the K-dramas and shows that I have watched since I was a little girl.

It wasn't a long drive to her house as her house is practically in the middle of the city of Seoul. Once we arrived at her house, 아즘마 - A-jum-ma ( Auntie ) 's mother in law greet us by the door. She looked so happy to see us which what makes me a little relief as I though that maybe she will be like one of the mother in laws in the drama I've watched and she is nothing close to that but so nicceeeeee (:

She looked happier and glad to know that we speak Korea and she starts conversing with us more.

And so...we settled down and unpacked before Oppa called us to the dining table and started to plan out our trip for us. He speaks good English but ya know, Koreans have limited English that he ended up speaking Korean to us. (;

My sister, Deena, is all 압구정- Ap-gu-jeong for Micky's Gelato Bar that we could never argue with her but to TIMEOUT GELATO BAR for our very first stop. Oh well not that I hated Micky or anything, I freaking love him! XD

Anyone watch the drama 옥탑방 왕세자 - Ok-Tab-Bang Wang-Se-Ja (Rooftop Prince)?

You'll definitely fall head over heels for him once you lay your eyes on him in the drama, I guarantee youuu (;

Oppa drive us there in Apgujeong to Micky's gelato bar that he keeps nagging to us of

Oppa : Why?? I don't understand...

He said that it's not like we can meet Yoochun there or anything. LOL

and Three of us argue with him for that.

Me : It is freaking Yoochun's gelato bar...

I seriously thought that the shop is bigger and more spacy from all of the pictures I have seen but guess not.

*shrug*

There are LOTS of flavors there and only one flavor close to my liking.

Cookies and Creams !!!

My sisters simply choose for the fruity ones and it tasted YUCK! I dislike it so much ):

Few merchandise and lots of fan gifts globally.

The cute girl is a fan of Micky and she sticks a note up saying 'Yoochun Oppa I love you!'

She is a Japanese, btw.

The Park's brothers. Micky Park and Ricky Park.

They are the cutest brother beside the Dolphins twins.

We stayed and lepak in Chun's Ice Cream shop for a little while (hours) before decide to explore The Rodeo Street. There is lots of luxury shops and boutiques there but no way we are going to spend our money on unimportant stuffs right on the first day....

Well not yet....

We had enough looking at the prices ($$$) and decide to just sit around right opposite to Micky's shop street and do a little stalking. Haha

Before that, Oppa had a little urgent meeting that he have to leave us there, exploring Apgujeong by ourselves. However, Ajumma came and fetched us few minutes later.

Next, we head to 한강- Han-gang (Han River) with Ajumma.

It was a nice place to hang out with your friends or your beloved ones, especially at night.

Spotted a lot of couples over there, cycling, walking and chitchatting. So much like what I have imagine of how Hangang would be like.
